Paul Clark - President

Paul Clark, Vice President


PAUL A. CLARK is a Partner in the Montgomery office. Mr. Clark is a member of the Products Liability and Casualty Litigation Practice Group. His trial and appellate experience span the full scope of this section's practice area, including the litigation of claims against electric utilities of all sizes. Through the litigation of several mass nuisance cases, Mr. Clark has also gained specialized experience in industrial noise pollution claims.

Kendall Dunson - Vice-President

Kendall Dunson, Secretary / Treasurer


Kendall grew up in LaGrange, Georgia. He graduated from LaGrange High School in 1989 serving his senior class as president. He attended college at the University of Georgia, majoring in Corporate Finance. While at the University of Georgia, Kendall joined Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated and served as president from 1991 to 1992.Kendall is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law and is licensed to practice in Alabama and Georgia. He participates in numerous legal and community organizations, including a task force charged with reconfiguring Alabama’s method of rendering legal services to the state’s underprivileged population. Kendall is a charter member of the 100 Black Men of Birmingham.Before coming to work at Beasley Allen, Kendall worked for a prominent defense firm for two and a half years in its Litigation section. At Beasley Allen, he practices in the areas of Product Liability, General Personal Injury, and Workers Compensation cases involving defective industrial machinery. Kendall has worked on numerous cases aimed at compensating clients for human losses and influencing corporations to manufacture safer products. Kendall was a member of the trial team that prosecuted a wrongful death case against a corporate defendant resulting in a $2,500,000.00 verdict, the largest jury verdict in Selma, Alabama. The suit also influenced the corporate defendant to outfit its entire fleet of trucks with audible backup alarms.Kendall is currently serving as president-elect of the Alabama Lawyers Association and is the President of the Capital City Bar Association.Kendall regularly takes time from the busy practice of law to speak to high school and grade school students about the law, college, and life in general. He is a member of East Side Baptist Church in LaGrange and attends First Baptist Church in Montgomery.

Adrian Johnson - Secretary/Treasurer

Adrian Johnson

Adrian D. Johnson is an attorney with the firm of Parnell & Crum, P.A. where he practices in the areas of insurance subrogation, commercial litigation and construction litigation. A graduate of Auburn University and the Cumberland School of Law, Mr. Johnson was admitted to the Bar in 2001 and served as law clerk to the Honorable John B. Bush. Mr. Johnson currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Montgomery County Bar Association and served as President of the Young Lawyers Section of the MCBA from 2006 to 2008. He was a member of Class IV of the Alabama State Bar Leadership Forum and currently serves on the Alabama State Bar Judicial Liaison Committee and History and Archives Committee. Mr. Johnson is a member of the Hugh Maddox Inn of Court. In addition to his professional activities, Mr. Johnson is also active in the community. He was appointed by Governor Bob Riley to the Black Belt Action Commission where he served on the Community Development Committee. Mr. Johnson serves as President of the Advisory Council for the Family Service Center of Lowndes County and is a graduate of Leadership Lowndes County. Mr. Johnson and his wife, the former Mandy Jones of Montgomery, are members of the Hayneville Baptist Church where he serves as a deacon and Sunday school teacher.

 

Pat Sefton - Past President

Pat Sefton, President Pat Sefton is a shareholder with the the law firm of Sasser, Sefton, Connally, Tipton and Davis. He graduated from Auburn University in 1993 where he served as Student Government Association President and graduated from the University of Alabama Law School in 1996. Sefton primarily engages in the practice areas of commercial and financial services litigation as well as employment law.

 

Bill Robertson - Young Lawyers President

Bill RobertsonBill grew up in Eufaula, Alabama, and graduated from The Lakeside School in 1995. In 1999, he graduated from Auburn University where he received a B.A. degree in Political Science. While attending Auburn, Bill was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity and Pi Lamda Sigma Legal Honor Society. Bill currently serves as Chairman of Sigma Nu's Alumni Advisory Board.

Bill received his Juris Doctor degree from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in 2005. While attending law school, Bill served as Dean of Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity for two consecutive years and was also a member of the Future Trial Lawyers Association. Bill worked here during his tenure at law school as a Staff Assistant in the firm's nursing home Section, but he currently focuses his practice on consumer fraud litigation since joining the firm as an Associate in 2005.

Bill is very active in the Montgomery County Bar Association's Young Lawyers Section, and is currently serving the office of President of that organization. As President of the MCBA's YLS, Bill serves as the chief executive officer and presides at all meetings, and also performs such other duties as are by general usage performed by the chief executive officer of the Young Lawyers Section. As President, Bill also serves as chairman of the Board of Directors.

On Jan. 28, 2009, Bill was a featured guest speaker for the Alpha Phi Sigma National Criminal Justice Honor Society at Auburn University Montgomery, where he presented a paper on the topic "Winners in Their Careers."

Bill is married to the former Leslie Gaither of Eufaula, and they have a son named Henry. They are members of First United Methodist Church in Montgomery and also serve on the American Cancer Society's Junior Executive Board.
